well wow. i have existed as a deviantARTIST for exactly a month today, and i must say, i am amazed at the high standards of the users of deviantART (i thought it was just going to be crap lame sketches of manga character on pieces of torn up paper) (then again, there are a few of those lol) anyway, out of all the artists i have found on deviantART, the following are my faveourite, and i'm being serious, not just doing this so they fave me and shit, i havent even told them i did this.
Some are very popular, some are not so popular, all are fantastic.

this guy actually makes very good NON-LAME anime and manga characters. He is very talented, and i really like his use of colours.

This mofo is simply amazing. he seems to specialise in three-dimensional abstract pieces THAT DONT SUCK like most of them do lol. but seriously, his stuff is so aesthetic and of professional level.

this dude is a very talented artist of what has to be described as great NON-CORNY dark art, that has a great stylised aspect to it.

this person is the most popular of these four, he is an extremely talented political artist, whose works cover a broad range of topics, but are all brilliant. he is also NOT A SNOB, like so many famous deviant-art users.
